Rear Spare Tire Cross Member (ART-151)

After looking this cross member for a 2002 Ford Ranger over online it looked to be what I needed. I also ordered the rear frame rail replacement rails I even called the company a talked to the customer service person, during the conversation I asked how many items I would be shipped and was told 3, the cross member and the 2 frame rails, I received 7 items the cross member mounting brackets were not welded to the cross member. I also spoke to a company technical person that told me they slide ride in and have 2 bolts that help with proper alignment. These are supposed to be custom built for a specific vehicle, why would the mounting plates not be welded on as shown in the advertising picture. Not sure if I will send these back or use them, Needless to say I am very disappointed to have to do this extra welding.
