Mid Frame Section (ART-217-L) Driver Side

Description ART-217 mid frame section was designed to fit on 1996-2002 (3rd Gen) Toyota 4-Runner frames. Our ART-217 SafeTCap® frame repair kit is approximately 24” long and caps the frame starting at the transmission cross member and ends at the forward fuel tank cross member.. We put perforation lines on the inner side of this frame kit giving you the option to notch around  the exhaust hanger on the passenger side, and  the brake line bracket on the driver side. This SafeTCap® is made from 11 gage steel, and is CNC cut, assembled and welded by our AWS Certified Welders. It will fit directly over your existing frame without having to disturb any of your body mounts or front end components. SafeTCap® Frame repair kits are designed to be welded to the upper part of the frame. 3rd Gen 4-Runner frame repair kits were designed to cap over the frame without having to cut off any of the original frame, but we do recommend removing the rusted lower section of frame and any debris trapped in the frame…. All SafeTCap® frame repair kits are designed with drainage holes allowing any water and debris to drain out of the frame.
