Front Frame Section (TAC-230X/D-L) Driver Side

Description We designed our TAC-230X/D-L SafeTCap® Frame repair kit to repair the front frame on the 2nd Gen Tacoma models. The TAC-230X/D will cap the frame beginning right after the control arm crossmember, or 8″ inches before the front cab mount, and will end approximately 13.5″ after the transmission cross member, right where the frame transitions from a boxed style frame to a C-channel style frame.. The TAC-230X/D is 6″ inches tall and once installed will need to be welded to the upper part of the original frame after the rust is removed and remaining metal is cleaned to bare metal. The TAC-230X/D also have drainage holes designed into them to allow any moisture or debris to drain out of the frame preventing a repeat problem.
