8-8-24These definitely aren’t the most attractive or refined hinges, but they function well.I used them on two exterior steel gates on my front porch.They work great. I finally can just push the gate all the way open, the hinge catches between the two adjustable tension spring-loaded bearings and stays open.Then just a little tug and the spring on the hinge takes over and closes the gate.You’ll need your own Allen/hex wrench to adjust the tension on the catch bearings, but at least they are adjustable.The hidden spring is not adjustable, this means if you have a heavier door spring is going to close it slower than if you have a lighter door it’ll close it faster.Other than them being fairly rudimentary, and the orangie metallic gold paint doesn’t match anything I have and scratches easily, they work as intended, and I like that it acts as a door closer and a door stay opener, kind of an all in one.Hopefully my written and photo reviews are helpful, thank you!.
