ATOTO AC-44F8 Watchband Style Wireless Remote Control with Luminous Buttons, Key Mapping, for Both ATOTO Car Stereos and Other Brands, Substitute for Steering Wheel Controls

This is a must have remote if you don’t have buttons on your steering wheel! Fairly easy to install during the installation of your ATOTO headunit. Just make sure that the receiver (black box) is closer to the remote for better signal transmission. I used those “heatgun soldering connectors” when installing the receiver and it works amazingly well. Been at least 1.5 years since I got this and haven’t had to change the battery yet. Overall, it has 5 buttons and a scroll wheel. I use scroll wheel for my volume and the buttons as displayed.Button function registration is super easy. Just go to your ATOTO headunit settings, find the “Steering Wheel Keys” function and then just Press the button on the remote, then on headunit click the function you want that button to perform and then let go of the button. You’re done! The function is registered to that button. Then repeat for the remaining buttons.For Volume it’s a bit trickier since you got to continuously rotating the wheel while registering the function but still easy with the steps I’ve listed above.The remote is magnetic so you can flip it however you want or just take it with you out of the car (if you’re at a beach or something and just control the music with the remote. The belt it comes with is silicone with a bunch of cutouts so you can secure it quite well to pretty much any size steering wheel.
