AIRTEC Motorsport Stage 3 Intercooler for Toyota Yaris GR Gen 1

Description Freshly developed at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, this is AIRTEC Motorsport’s ultimate specification intercooler kit for the Toyota Yaris GR, featuring a stepped core and an integrated crash bar design, aimed at modified cars that demand the very highest levels of cooling efficiency and performance for fast road or track use. It offers a 143% increase in overall capacity compared to the original intercooler (and 56% bigger than the Stage 1 kit) and a 125% increase in frontal area over standard (74% over Stage 1). The Challenge: AIRTEC’s earlier Stage 1 intercooler was developed for tuned Yaris GR models at the time, but as tuning potential evolved, a more substantial intercooler package was needed for big-power, heavily tuned cars. The Solution: AIRTEC developed the biggest package possible using a stepped core that rises behind the grille area, combined with high-flow moulded one-piece cast end tanks to direct airflow efficiently. The Stage 3 also features an enlarged 60mm inlet to match the outlet, providing increased volume and efficiency over both OEM and Stage 1 setups. The kit is finished in a powder coated black finish and includes Pro Hoses silicone connectors, fixtures/fittings, and fitting instructions (with an optional “big boost pipe kit” option). Testing: Back-to-back track testing at Snetterton (UK) on AIRTEC’s 420bhp development car showed Stage 1 charge temps varied across a 15°C range over a hot lap, while the Stage 3 held a much more consistent result with a 5°C range. Important Note (Compatibility): This intercooler will NOT fit with AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler ATMSYGR04. It will fit with Stage 3 Oil Cooler ATMSYGR14.
